Pat Robinson is Of Counsel in the New Jersey office. Her practice focuses on representing employers in state and federal court and before state and federal agencies. She has litigated cases alleging race, sex, age, national origin and handicap discrimination; wrongful termination, retaliation and sexual harassment; breach of contract claims based on employee handbooks and personnel policies; and whistleblower claims. Pat has also litigated class actions, including one which challenged an employers salary plan and the conversion of a traditional pension plan to a cash balance formula. Prior to entering law, Pat was a research scientist for Bell Laboratories and a telecommunications manager with AT&T. Her years of corporate experience allow her to bring a manager's perspective to legal problems, assisting clients in navigating their way through the various employment laws without losing sight of their business objectives. Pat's technical background also provides her with a quick understanding of technical and technology-related issues that arise in litigation. Pat is also a member of the firm's Education Law Practice Group handling discrimination matters for private educational institutions relating to both employment and student matters.
