Melinda is a member of the Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Maine Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Association. Melinda was Co-Chair of the Women's Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association from 2007-2009. In 2008, Melinda was selected to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and in 2009 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations.
