Celia Joseph is Of Counsel in the Philadelphia office. She has U.S. and international employment law experience including harassment and discrimination prevention; employment law and corporate compliance training; employment policies and procedures; investigations; diversity, affirmative action, and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements; employment litigation and administrative actions; employment-related contracts; preventing workplace violence; FMLA, FLSA, NLRB, reductions in force; and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Celia founded an employment law firm, and was employed for over 25 years as Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law Manager, and EEO/Diversity Manager at Rohm and Haas Company, a multi-national specialty materials company. Celia created and managed diversity programs resulting in Rohm and Haas winning an OFCCP Glass Ceiling Audit, and being awarded the DOL Exemplary Effort in Diversity (EVE) and the City of Philadelphia EEO awards. She also received the Diversity Excellence Award by Rohm and Haas. Celia has provided advice on all aspects of employment law in over 50 countries, and she has implemented global projects, including conducting harassment prevention programs for countries in the Asia-Pacific and elsewhere, and leading and conducting diversity projects for employees worldwide. Celia is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
