As Labor & Employment practitioners, we understand that we should reflect the diversity of our clients and the workers in their employ in order to serve as a role model and enhance our ability to deliver excellent services to our clients.
To ensure the Firm's continued growth and success, we must be able to recruit, hire, develop, retain and promote diverse attorneys and staff at all levels. In order to accomplish this goal, we have established five key initiatives:
- On-going firm-wide education on diversity issues and programs
- Lateral recruitment, including a lateral hiring strategy designed to attract minority and women attorneys across all experience levels
- Retention and advancement, including the development of a firm-wide mentoring and training program that ensures support and development for all associates
- Community outreach that will increase our support of and connection with women and minority-owned businesses, professional organizations and underprivileged communities; and
- Identification and recruitment of top tier minority candidates graduating from law school.
