Andrew Froman, a partner in the firm's Tampa, Florida office, secured a trial victory in Florida Circuit Court on behalf of a long standing and valued client, Intensive Air, Inc., a Sarasota, Florida based air ambulance company that transports ill and injured patients world wide. The case was a defense of a claim by a former employee, a flight nurse, for breach of an alleged employment contract and failure to pay wages, in violation of Florida statutes. The Court granted Intensive Air, Inc. a directed verdict at the close of the plaintiff's case, finding that the job offer letter she received did not constitute an enforceable contract for employment, and therefore Intensive Air could not have breached the "contract." The Court granted judgment in favor of Intensive Air on all claims.
